SOLD OUT- Pop Up! with Greg Norrish at Magpie
Greg Norrish (안영근) is a former Magpie who is coming back to the nest for a pop up visit. Greg’s story is not unique. He was born in Seoul and adopted to the US as an infant. Greg decided to move back to Korea to connect with the land of his birth.
Greg’s interest in food drew him into the culinary community of Korea right away.
Greg ran a Mexican place for a while in Seoul called CaliTaco. The Sacramento Bee wrote an article about Greg in September of 2018.
He has since begun a new project – Ida, a contemporary Korean restaurant. Magpie is excited to host Greg on a collaboration of contemporary Korean food Monday 5/20. Please join us.
