Chicano Nuevo is set for a Cinco de Mayo takeover of Magpie’s brick and mortar this May 5th and 6th, bringing their Mission District acclaimed Baja style Mexican Cocina to Magpie and Sacramento for two days. Please join.

Abraham Nuñez and Courty Fujita are Chicano Nuevo. Chef Abraham Nuñez with Alta/Baja California roots and stints at Cockscomb and Statebird Provisions heads up the cusine and Courtney Fujita, Sacramento native, former Magpie, and long time San Francisco bar and hospitality force does all the other things.    Magpie couldn’t be more excited than to host them here on P street before they take the big step and open their own home base in San Francisco’s Outer Mission District.
